Ballet 1 & 2 is part of the SOMA Conservatory family, designed for dancers who are ready to take their training to the next level. This program requires a semester-long commitment and is best suited for students who want to build a strong technical foundation, discipline, and artistry within a structured setting.
Parents and caregivers can expect their dancer to focus on alignment, posture, vocabulary, strength, flexibility, and musicality. While the classes are more formal and challenging, they remain supportive — giving students the tools to grow not only as dancers, but also as focused and expressive individuals.
This level marks an important step for dancers who are serious about their training and prepares them for continued advancement within the conservatory program.
