A Note from SOMA
This space was created for your body, your movement, and your creative expression.
We want you to feel supported, inspired, and grounded each time you walk through our doors. The information below includes important studio policies and FAQs — designed to help us all move together with clarity, respect, and care.
Thank you for being here — for your commitment, your effort, and for being part of this space.

General Studio Etiquette
Arrive Early: We recommend arriving 5–10 minutes before class. Late arrivals may not be admitted to avoid disrupting the class.
Respect the Space: SOMA is a shared sanctuary. Please keep voices low in common areas and silence cell phones upon entering.
Clean Movement: Please wear clean, indoor-only shoes or go barefoot as appropriate to your class.
Studio Hygiene: Wipe down shared equipment (e.g., mats, props) after use. Hand sanitizer and wipes are available.
-
Pre-registration is Required: All classes must be booked in advance through our online system. Walk-ins are not guaranteed a spot.
Class Cancellations: Cancellations must be made at least 12 hours in advance to avoid being charged. No-shows and late cancellations are non-refundable.
Workshops & Series: These are non-refundable unless the event is canceled by SOMA. Credits may be issued for extenuating circumstances.
-
Timeliness: Please ensure your child arrives and is picked up on time.
Observation: Caregivers are invited to wait in the lobby unless otherwise specified. Please respect the learning environment during class.
Attire: Students should arrive dressed and ready with appropriate footwear and hair secured.
-
Injury & Illness: Please inform your instructor of any injuries or health conditions before class so we can support you appropriately. If you or your child are actively sick—experiencing symptoms such as fever, cough, sore throat, vomiting, or any contagious illness—we kindly ask that you stay home to help keep our community healthy.
Consent & Touch: Some classes may involve gentle, hands-on adjustments. Verbal or visual consent will always be requested, and we honor all boundaries.
Personal Hygiene: Out of respect for the shared space and those around you, we ask that all students arrive clean and practice good personal hygiene. Please avoid strong body odor and refrain from wearing fragrances or perfumes, as others may be sensitive or allergic.
Emergency Protocol: In case of an emergency, our team is trained to respond with care. Caregivers will be contacted immediately if needed.
