Hip Hop 1 & 2 is part of the SOMA Conservatory family, created for dancers who want to explore the athleticism, rhythm, and expressive power of hip hop dance. This semester-long program introduces students to foundational hip hop techniques while fostering musicality, creativity, and performance confidence.

Parents and caregivers can expect their dancer to work on strength, coordination, and stamina through dynamic movement, grooves, and choreography. Classes emphasize both individual style and teamwork, helping students gain confidence as performers while staying rooted in the joy and culture of hip hop.

This level requires a semester-long commitment and is ideal for dancers who want to expand their versatility, build strong foundations in hip hop, and grow as expressive, well-rounded artists within the conservatory program.
